I'm not exactly sure what this journal is for, but I think that it'll be fun to muse in it...That is, until I know it's true purpose!

Anyway, I joined on a whim at a community college computer terminal, and really wasn't sure why. Maybe I wanted more opinions of people than I had right then...or something. I'm sure I'll put this ID to good use in some way. Still trying to figure things out!

As for my name, you could suppose that it's something of a place holder, which it sort of is. I wanted something mysterious, intriguing, deep , yet light, and adventuresome and so forth. So I made up all sorts of things like: "exploring artist" and "roving artist". There were some others using mythological inspiration, but in the end I went with JoyusArtist in the hopes that it would convey my meaning. Perhaps I'll find an anagram for it...
